Happy Valentine's Day Event with Laurie

I'm just a tad  late attending the party but I'm sure Laurie will be forgiving ... check out  Bargain Hunting & Chatting with Laurie for a wonderful Valentine's Day Event with links to some awesome blogs celebrating along with Laurie!

Starting out the week with the traditional M&M's that now come in the respective colors for any Holiday..

Making the treats I know my family will devour with no coaxing I started with the yummy "Cupid Cakes",  which mine are two German Chocolate heart cakes sandwiched between a lucious layer of creamy marshmallow, topped with espresso ganache and decorated with a chocolate heart I cut from some melted red chocolate wafers....

Then, the chocolate cupcakes with a creamy marshmallow filling.  I used the Magnolia Chocolate Buttercream frosting on some.....

Others with a marshmallow frosting, then "torched" just a little to give it an extra flair...

One of my Shooter pals, Sue, invited me out to her place for dinner tonight, so I was more than happy to bring the dessert!  I have to get these lilttle treats out of my house or it won't be a pretty sight!!

Thank you Laurie for hosting this Sweet, Sweet Event!!

Barb, fun post ... I love M & M's, chocolate, peanut, you name it; and I always buy the seasonal colors that they bring out.

What a lot of tasty-looking Valentine's Day goodies ... I love the torched marshmallow frosting. But, I wouldn't turn down a single thing.

you were late posting and I am late for the party too. I hope your Valentine's day was the sweetest and your desserts are oh so fabulous! Being on a diet for the winter has made it hard to visit all the wonderful blogs with such good looking food. I am making brownies today with black beans. Can you believe it? Actually they taste pretty good but they would be better with a ganache chocolate coating. :)

How's I miss this? Fantastic. I love the chocolate cake, but then I get to the cupcakes. OMG, it's all so good! I need a really tall, cold glass of milk, and one of each of everything!
