Christmas decorations...

My sis, Laurie, came over a week ago to put up some decorations for me.  Still a little clumsy with my wrist and came down with terrible flu like symptoms so didn't feel like doing much decorating.  But Laurie came to the rescue - she loves doing it, and I really appreciated everything she did.  A few little snipets, kept the living room mainly silver and the dining room the bronzes....

I love my 'sugar garland'

Even the ducks were gussied up...

A sweet gift from one of my fellow bloogers, Marsha from Marsha's Garden, deserved a place of distinction... just love the little snowmen

Angels were my Mom's favorite...

A little more later with a few of the goodies I was able to make.

Thanks for stopping by.....

Everything looks perfect, Marsha! Kudos to Laurie to the rescue.

We found out at our gourmet party on Saturday that the brother of one of our good friends slipped and fell on the driveway getting the newspaper last week. Compound fracture of the leg - both bones broken with tendon and cartilage damage.

You shouldn't mention my name - people are getting confused, LOL!

I love your decorations, the bronze ones are very elegant looking and someone has a great sense of humor to even decorate the ducks.

The silver angels are very pretty and precious when you mention how your mom loved angels. I especially love the way you displayed them in the last photo with the bowl of silver ornaments - I think I will copy that idea :)

I hope the wrist is healing ahead of schedule it has been a rough month for you. Take care and enjoy the holiday week.

Yes, you needed a little Christmas! It all looks good. Love the duck's babushka, as my mom used to call them!
Hope you are feeling better!
