Since I was in a hurry, I took some shortcuts! Paula's recipe takes you through making the "cake" from scratch. I used a packaged brownie mix, layered the marshmallows and topped it off with her icing. Either way you won't be disappointed, just depends how much time you have!
Also, want to take a moment to wish a Happy Birthday to a very dear S&S friend today...Susan from Savoring Time in the Kitchen is celebrating her 39th !!
Thanks for stopping by, hope your teeth aren't hurting too much......

OMG!! That looks amazing:)
That looks divine Barb! Happy Birthday to Susan :-)
And I love your new blog header!
I've made a version of these and made them into cupcakes too--Fabulous! Love the bunny header!
Trop bon cette recette.
Bonne journée.

I know what you mean about some recipes making your teeth hurt. Some of Paula's can do that. I have a weakness for the chocolate, marshmallow, frosting combo so I know I couldn't leave this alone.
Totally fattening but hey who is counting:) I made the cooking light version of the mississippi mud cake and it tastes good and a whole less calories. It is much lighter but if I was a skinny girl I would prefer Paula's recipe:) Now I am going to be thinking of these all day long!

Happy 39th Birthday to Susan! LOL!
Barb ... My mom used to make these. One of her favorties, but not something that she made frequently. And yes, it's been years.
Yours look amazing ... a mouth-watering picture for sure.
Yum, that looks sinfully sweet.
Wish I had one for breakfast they look so good! Great idea taking a shortcut on the base because it is the topping that really MAKES this dessert a winner.
