MY ONE YEAR BLOGOVERSARY !!!

After some GENTLE pushing and prodding from a very special group of blogging friends I took the plunge a year ago into the infamous blogging world!
Something that was so completely out of my comfort zone has brought me so much fun and enjoyment that it has totally surprised me.  Blogging has challenged me to attempt various things in cooking, gardening and photography that I couldn't have imagined.  I have "met" so many wonderful people who I have laughed and cried with throughout the year and look forward to many more years with you all!

So I would like to give a very heartfelt THANK-YOU to my Sweet and Savory pushy co-horts....
Carol, Cynthia, Debbie, Jayne, Kathleen, Marsha, Susan and Suzy

To celebrate,  I am having a drawing for this beautiful glass dessert stand with dome...

I have one of my own and used it for Laurie's Valentine Party this past weekend.

It can be used for so many things, not just for desserts ... from displaying special mementos to flower arrangments to using it in the bath for all your special soaps and bath salts.  Let you imagination run wild...

All you have to do is leave a comment on this post between now and Saturday, Feb 20th and your name will be added in the drawing.  Just making it simple!!
I will use one of the nifty random generators to pick the lucky blogger and will announce the winner on Sunday, Feb 21st.....

As it turns out,  today is another VERY SPECIAL DAY.....

My sweet little Bailey is celebrating his 7th Birthday!!!

He has been such a special little pup and is so loveable.  And something only dog lovers really understand, is that it would be so very lonely without having him around...

This past summer he went on his very first boat ride on my brothers pontoon... he wasn't really thrilled with the life jacket but was very patient as my BIL, Larry, put it on him.

Bailey's "partner in crime" is his brother, Jack!  They look so innocent and angelic , but at times it can be very misleading....

After a long day of celebrating and playing.... you can always find Bailey relaxing in comfort!

One of my favorite quotes....

"Until one has loved an animal, part of their soul remains unawakened"

Happy Birthday, Bailey
